Why sleep?
Because everything you do, if you want to be at your best, REQUIRES a body, mind, and spirit that is rested and nourished.
I’m here to tell you what the experts won’t say or don’t understand: Your Sleep is Sacred.
This might get me in trouble with the “sleep experts.” (No one likes hearing the hard truth.)
Because most of them only focus on the external.
The mattress, the blue light, the routine.
But when they do that—focus on a body-only approach to sleep—they miss the most important part of freeing yourself from insomnia.
(Something I later discovered is VITAL to restful, restorative, and rejuvenating sleep…)
But before we go further, I want to clarify: I’m not rejecting the sleep experts and sleep hygienists.
And, I’m not dismissing the fact that their advice works for some people.
But, for whatever reason (a curse?), we ain’t them.
